Speaking
I’ve spoken at WWDC three times, but alas none of the videos are online any more. People still say my WWDC 2014 session Advanced User Interfaces with Collection View is among their favourites. (I’m surprised people have favourite WWDC sessions.) In addition to WWDC, I’ve been honoured to speak at some really excellent conferences.
If you’d like me to speak at your conference or to your organisation, my schedule is starting to fill up. Now would be a good time to get in touch.

iOSConf SG 2020 – Building a Considerate App
Making applications accessible to more people is probably the topic I’m most passionate about. I feel even a small investment can go such a long way to making a difference in people’s lives. I had the exciting opportunity to talk about an idea that had been brewing in the back of my head with the audience of iOSConf SG in Singapore in January, 2020. A “considerate app” accepts a user along with their limitations and differences while still providing a delightful and immersive experience.

Pragma Conf 2019 – I was wrong. I’m so sorry.
It isn’t often you get the opportunity to revisit a talk you gave at WWDC, but I was super excited to take a look at how my recommendations from WWDC 2014 Advanced User Interfaces with Collection View worked out in the long run.
